Siddhartha Gautama

Siddhartha Gautama Buddha Statues

The original Buddha was reincarnated as Prince Siddhartha Gautama in the 6th century B.C.E. He renounced his kingdom when he was 29 years old. Afterwords, he cut off his hair and went to live in the forest as a renunciant. Our Siddhartha Gautama Buddha statues are a tribute to the dedication and fortitude of the original Buddha during the early years of his life.

Siddhartha spent 6 years living as a renunciant. During this time, he developed what would evolve into the Buddhist religion. After 6 years he became the first enlightened being of our era. As a result, there are many Buddha statues depicting him after enlightenment. However, our Siddhartha Gautama Buddha statues are a depiction of him during the 6 years as a renunciant. Therefore, this collection of statues is conservative and lacking any flashy features.

Our ceramic Siddhartha Gautama Buddha statues are made of high quality minerals that are procured from special mining regions in China. Additionally, our sculptors take special care with the intricate statue features. In this instance, the theme is the Dhyana mudra which depict Siddhartha in deep meditation.
