Vajrasattva

World Class Vajrasattva Statues

Our Vajrasattva statues are a personification of the Sambhogakaya which is a embodiment reserved for Buddhas and high level bodhisattvas. Sambhogakaya is described as a “subtle body of limitless form” and it is one of the three embodiments of the Trikaya. Additionally, the most common depiction of Vajrasattva shows him holding the Vajra and the (ghanta) bell. It is a representation of compassion and wisdom and the joining of these elements may result in enlightenment.

It is possible, that you have seen or spoken with an incarnation of Vajrasattva but may not be aware of it. When a Buddha or high level bodhisattva has tried to communicate with sentient life they have the ability to transform into a being that is recognized and appreciated by whom they are trying to reach. Therefore, Vajrasattva statues can take any form necessary.

All of our Vajrasattva statues are sculpted with intricate detail by the world class artisans of Nepal. Devotees are also inspired by the Vajrasattva mantra which invokes the forgiveness and absolution of Vajrasattva.
